2077

Darren Klass, Vancouver, Canada, is scheduled to lead a live webinar titled “Why radial for interventional radiologists” on 11 January 2016 at 1300hrs Eastern Standard Time.

The webinar will focus on topics relevant to interventional radiologists interested in adopting a radial approach, including recent developments in industry research, common hesitations when considering the radial approach, information to help overcome these hesitations. Klass will also make suggestions on how to start incorporating a radial approach technique into practice. The session will conclude with a live question and answer session.

Klass has performed over 400 radial cases, and currently uses a radial approach for 90% of liver interventions and fibroid embolization. He performed the first transradial radioembolization and chemoembolization of the liver in Canada, and is developing a robust hardware platform for radial access to the liver. He is also the interventional radiology proctor for Merit Medical’s ThinkRadial programme.

This webinar will provide an opportunity for interventional radiologists to learn more about the approach and Klass’s personal experience in bringing radial to his practice, information from the company notes.
